The Cornell Fashion Collective took over the runway this past Saturday for its 42nd annual spring production. What began in 1984 as the Cornell Design League has evolved into a massive student-run operation that highlights the intersection of innovation and style on campus. The show is a completely student-led endeavor, with undergraduates managing everything from garment construction and modeling to event photography and stage management. By providing a professional-grade platform for emerging talent, the collective continues to prove that Cornellians are the ones defining the future of the fashion industry. A highly anticipated creative tradition, the show stands as a testament to the ambition and collaborative spirit of the students who brought the production to life from scratch. With over 3,000 attendees, the fashion show is Cornell’s largest student-run event, second only to Slope Day.
