Yosef "Joey" Loriner, a 25-year-old student at Cornell Law School, died Tuesday night following a fatal car accident in Pennsylvania. A Brooklyn native and second-year student, Loriner was a dedicated member of both the Cornell Law Review and the Jewish Law Students Association. Loriner was committed to community advocacy and spent his nights as a volunteer for the Crisis Text Line. Before joining the Law School in 2024, Loriner completed his undergraduate degree in Talmudic Studies and worked as a law clerk. May his memory be a blessing.
