The exchange captures the moments members discussed the victim as “free p***y” at 1:42 AM, followed by a member asking if the “shop” was “still open” and receiving the response, “Yeah 😈“. The time and senders of the newly revealed messages remain unknown. Reportedly, more than 50 men were included in the group chat; none of them stopped the assault. The release comes as the Tompkins County DA reopens the criminal case for grand jury review, evaluating evidence the victim’s legal team argues law enforcement previously overlooked. While Cornell noted that its initial Title IX investigation concluded with sanctions, the broader release of the digital paper trail continues to fuel student frustration over how thoroughly administrators and local officials handled the case from the start.
