The Big Red has officially reclaimed the throne. Cornell Men’s Hockey secured its 27th Ivy League title on Saturday night, marking the program’s sixth conference crown in the last eight seasons.
While the result on the ice in Schenectady wasn’t what the team hoped for, a favorable outcome elsewhere in the league mathematically clinched the title for Cornell. This victory reinforces the program’s long-standing dominance, bringing home the 12th league trophy since 2002.
The team remains one of the top-ranked programs in the country as they look toward the post-season. The Big Red will continue their road trip next weekend with high-stakes matchups against Quinnipiac and Princeton.
