Far-right internet trolls and MAGA agitators have descended on Ithaca, attempting to turn serious campus safety concerns into an online media circus.
 Convicted January 6 rioter Jake Lang claims he was kicked off university grounds after staging a stunt defending the fraternity members accused in the Chi Phi sexual assault lawsuit. Meanwhile, right-wing commentator Michael Tracey threw an outburst at an Ithaca Common Council meeting, yelling at local officials before being escorted out by an alderperson. Both have attempted to dox Jane Doe’s identity.
 Students are pointing the finger back at Day Hall for dragging its feet on accountability and leaving the door wide open for outside trolls to exploit campus issues.
