Hundreds of Cornellians took over Toni Morrison Dining Hall on Wednesday for a seven-hour sit-in, boycotting classes and campus spending as part of an organized “Zero Day” demonstration in solidarity with Jane Doe.
The action follows a civil lawsuit detailing allegations that a student was drugged and assaulted at the Chi Phi fraternity house in 2024. Students and alumni are demanding real answers, voicing frustration with how the university and local prosecutors initially handled the reports.
With New York Attorney General Letitia James now leading the criminal investigation, organizers made it clear that student pressure on the administration is not going away anytime soon.
